What is a housekeeping cabin?

The term "housekeeping" means that you rent a fully furnished and equipped cabin for the entire period of your stay. We do not provide maid services during your stay and guests are expected to leave the cabin as they found it at the beginning of their stay. Housekeeping cabins include cooking facilities and bedding. Customers usually must furnish their own towels.

Do I need a Maine license to hunt or fish?

Yes you do.  For hunting you need to obtain a license if you are age 10 or older and for fishing if you are 16 years of age or older (resident) or 12 years of age or older (nonresident) for more info or to purchase licenses you can go to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Website. To get a hunting license in Maine you will need proof of a hunter safety course or a post-1976 hunting license from your home state.
